INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • pinch sea salt
  • pinch pepper
  • LaTortilla Factory Tortillas
  • 2 cups strawberries, stems cut off and quartered
  • pinch sea salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, chopped
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 ½ tsp honey
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • crumbled cotija cheese for topping

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and smoked paprika. Mix until the shrimp are fully coated.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the strawberries, jalapeños, red onions, cilantro, honey, lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 per side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Assemble tacos. Add the shrimp to the bottom of the tortillas and top with the strawberry salsa. Sprinkle tacos with crumbled cotija cheese.
